God's Plans > Your Plans

As humans with busy lives and thousands of goals and dreams, we plan and plan and plan! But what if these plans aren't God's plans? What if he desires something else for you? I am obsessed with planning, so trust me, I know it's hard to loosen the reigns and let go of some of them. Did you know that planning too much actually has disadvantages? When you don't commit yourself and all you do to the Lord, you're actually imposing limitations on yourself. Maybe you want to go to France and have some fun this year, but maybe God wants you to stay in your hometown this year so you can gain more knowledge and experience to spread His word through the whole European continent two years from now. The truth is we know nothing, we aren't even aware of our potential, but when we let God guide us and pray for His will to direct our plans and desires, we open new doors that will not only surely be greater than our own aspirations, but will please the Lord. When you commit your life to Him, He blesses your life and the works you do for Him.

God wants you to trust in Him and trust that He has the best prepared for you. Trust that He wants to prepare your heart to feel His presence and see His works in our lives. In our eyes, many choices seem to be the best and most accurate choices, but we should remember that we alone are limited and that we desperately need the help and direction of the Lord so that we don't fall into all the traps in our path.

Success

You can hide your true self from this world full of blindness, but you can't hide who you really are from God. He knows your heart and all the reasons behind your choices. He knows your intentions and if you mean well or not. Having plans founded in the Lord is the key to your success. If you live for Him and keep Him in mind in everything you do, He will guide you and bless you. Even when things seem to be going in the wrong direction, even if you feel like you're in an unfair impossible situation, God is in control of everything always. You can learn from your experiences and become prepared for the greatness He has to offer. Remember, what you see today as failure can change in the future. Trust in the Lord and commit your life and all your plans to Him, and He will lead you to genuine success in following His will.
